I’m jetting off outside of the country soon, and I’ve been frantically trying to pack up my entire life into two suitcases and a carry-on. Let’s just say it hasn’t been a walk in the park! In fact, I originally started packing everything away awhile back and thought I had it all figured out… only to find a crap ton more things that I needed to somehow stuff inside. I love traveling, but packing definitely sucks no matter how you look at it! To make matters worse, I just want to add to my misery apparently because I can’t pass on getting fantastic Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsticks by Kate Moss on sale even if I have no room in my bags already!
I’ve been staying with my Mother while I prepare to leave, and laziness is taking a toll on me. My husband went back home to visit his family, we packed up our apartment for storage, and I’ve been bouncing back and forth between my Mom and Dad’s house before I jet off myself. While my Mom’s at work, I’m stuck inside most of the time with nothing to do. Of course, I’ve been lazy and enjoyed some time sleeping in. I also had a lot of time to work on my blog, which is great! After too many days inside, I decided that I needed some sunlight (with SPF of course ) to kick my butt into gear. There isn’t much to do around here except walk around an outdoor mall nearby, so I settled on that.
Just my luck, Ulta actually had a good selection of items on clearance. They had so many lipsticks on sale in colors that I actually liked! Usually the clearance lipsticks are dark colors or colors that aren’t good for everyday wear. I don’t like to go out of the box too far myself. A lot of them had obviously been opened and used, but I found an unopened Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsticks by Kate Moss in #06. The color is a little bold for me, but it looked so gorgeous that I couldn’t resist getting it! I’ll find a way to stuff it in.
I’m really glad I picked it up, because I ended up loving it! It has a semi-matte finish and glides onto my lips really smoothly. Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsticks by Kate Moss are supposed to last up to eight hours. It doesn’t last eight hours for me like it promises to, but it held up pretty well compared to other lipsticks that I’ve used. It’s a vibrant fuchsia that really complimented my skin tone!
Eating and drinking doesn’t work out too well with this lipstick, about half of it rubbed off after I ate lunch. Near the end of the day, the color started to bleed a little around the edges. Even after hours of wear, it still transfers so expect some color on your cups or lover, haha.
This baby is highly pigmented and one swipe will do it! In my opinion, totally worth the buy. Now I just need to find a way to fit it in my suitcase and avoid any other colors from the Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsticks by Kate Moss in case I go weak again. The problems of a beauty fanatic!
